Houston, TX – October 3, 2007: By donating 800 square feet of office space in West Houston, Extreme Technologies, Incorporated has enabled Katy ARTreach and Houston ARTreach to combine their operations into one location. The fully equipped, strategically located space is expected to help ARTreach complete its transition to mid-size non-profit helping at-risk children through community art programs by year end. www.extreme-technologies.com
Katy and Houston ARTreach will use the space for staff development work areas, artists’ brainstorming workshops, interview rooms, and agency and community meetings.
“Because we live and work in West Houston area, Extreme Technologies is proud to invest in the work done by ARTreach,” says Lisa Guidry, president of Extreme Technologies, Inc. “We fully connect with ARTreach’s vision - to inspire, unite and empower the community and its people to succeed. Like many industries, the technology sector will need creative, visionary leaders in the future and it is through programs like ARTreach that our communities and economies will thrive in the future.
Extreme Technologies will be donating over 800 prime square feet of equipped office space on the third floor of their offices near Kirkwood and I-10, including conference room access and shared business resources, to Katy ARTreach and its Houston ARTreach branch organization.
“These offices will serve as our official Houston corporate headquarters, bridging the programs and services provided to our residents by enabling Katy ARTreach and Houston ARTreach teams to brainstorm and operate together,” says Terri Bieber, executive director of Katy ARTreach. “The location is perfect, and supports our immediate goal of extending the services and benefits our programs provide to a broader geographic area”.
“A corporate contribution that supports a community non-profit on this level is significant, and is the answer to our specific prayer for growing space,” said Chris Gamez, who oversees Houston ARTreach programs in the Houston ISD and Third Ward area. “Extreme Technologies is also the underwriter of our high impact ARTreach Urban Arts programs serving at-risk youth, including URGEWORKS presentations, in under-served schools in Katy and Houston.”
